The ultrasound system is designed on the basis of a PC and modern multimedia technologies combine the simplicity of ultrasound examinations with rich service possibilities.

Depending on the working conditions you can select stationary, monoblock or portable system design. All of them have the same possibilities and technical specifications. Modular system as an add on to your Notebook is still available .

A wide choice of linear, convex and micro convex probes with the frequency from 2,5 MHz to 9,0 MHz enables to carry out examinations for various clinical applications. In order to reduce examination time two probes can be connected simultaneously to the system. The further choice of the necessary probe is provided by the software.

Wide choice of operation modes

 

The system  combines the following display modes:  

                  

B, B+B, M, B+M, D, B+D, B+CFM, B+CFM+D, B+PD, B+PD+D.             

 

They enable to obtain the visualization of abdominal organs as well as carry out echocardiography or vascular examinations. Current settings of the system can be saved for routine examinations.


The four focusing zones and the possibility of their selective switching on ensure an optimal quality of the image in any mode.

Image processing

The system ensures several variants of image processing.

· Averaging. Several degrees of frame averaging are available for artifacts and noise removal.

· Coloration. Some image areas with a given range of brightness are colored in order to localize particular structures with the same brightness.

· Edge enhancement. Inner contours of images are enhanced.

· Gamma-correction. A wide range of gamma-characteristics are available to change image texture.

General measurements

The software package provides the following measurements:

B-mode: 4 distances, 2 squares/cir­cumferences, 2 volumes .

M-mode: 4 time intervals, 4 slopes, 4 heart rates.                                        

D-mode: blood flow parameters (Vmax, Vmin,Vave).

The results of the measurements became automatically available for specialized calculations (obstetrics, cardiology, vascular examinations).

The system software offers a wide range of specialized calculation methods:

· Obstetric examinations: Campbell, Tokyo methods, etc.

· Cardiac examinations: Simpson, Bullit , Teizholz, Gibson methods, etc.

· Vascular examinations: Goesling , Pourcelot, Stuart blood flow indices, etc.
